On Thursday, at least two men were killed in two different events in a neighborhood off Maxfield Avenue (October 14).
According to reports, an unnamed male was shot and killed along Texton Road at 3:30 p.m.
While police were responding to the scene, they were greeted with gunfire.
The gunfire was said to be from men who were allegedly avenging the death of their friend known only by his street name as ‘Dan Dan’.
The cops retaliated, killing a guy only identified as ‘Jeff’ or ‘Jev’ in the firefight.
The Den has learned that an M16 rifle, colloquially known as a ‘Marshy’ in the streets, was found from Jeff.
A 28-year-old guy whose identity has not been revealed was also hurt in the incident.
The discovered rifle is thought to be related to a double homicide that occurred in the same town earlier this year in June.
At about 5:00 p.m. in June 2021, two males were gunned killed on Rousseau Crescent.
A video of the event, showing two male bodies being transported in the back of a police vehicle, was extensively distributed on social media sites.
The men’s skulls were entirely smashed as if they had been hit by a powerful weapon.
